The steel casings are coated with zinc which makes them durable and resistant to corrosion so they hold up in long-term storage. This Berdan-primed ammo is a good disposable option for shooters who are not interested in reloading their casings. The heavy 230gr projectile produces a muzzle velocity of 886 fps and features a non-magnetic lead core.
