The Sharps rifle/carbine was used during and after the American Civil War.A falling Block action made for easy loading a number of different calibersas modifications were made.
The Carbine version of the Sharps was popular with the Cavalry of both Unionand Confederate armies, almost 90,000 were produced by 1863.A great collection piece and nice to handle and display.
