These screws have a .270″ diameter head for fit Italian manufactured tang sight base. Overall length of .375″, and threaded shaft of .265″.Two of these screws are required! to mount a tang sight on an a Lyman 1878 Sharps rifle manufactured by Davide Pedersoli & Co. This screw will not fit the 1863 or 1874 Sharps rifles by Davide Pedersoli, Pedretti, SILE, EMF, IAB, Powder River, or Marcheno these rifles require 10-28 or 4-.7mm metric screws depending on the manufacturer.
