This York County rear sight is modeled after one by George Shreyer. It will make a excellent choice for your next longrifle. Made in the U.S.A. from wax cast steel.Cut your dovetail .050″ deep, not more than .062″ deep, .740″ long, by .530″ wide for 7/8″ octagon, or file trim the edges to fit a 13/16″ barrel. Height from the bottom of the dovetail to the top of the sight notch is 0.39″.
