Description
This horn is finished with a brown patina on the body and a dark tip. The tip has a paneled end with raised strap ring, and transition to a Tansel style engrailed border to the horn body. The horn measures 12-1/8″ around the outside curve from the tip to the end of the turned base, the turret finial adds about 1″ to the overall length. Small iron nails secure the base to the horn. A turned wooden stopper is fitted. Add a leather or woven strap and this horn is ready to go!A very attractive patina finished powder horn. Order it for a ten day visual inspection.
