Description
This horn is finished with a warm brown patina on the body and a dark tip. The tip has a paneled end with a raised lip to secure a strap, and transition to an engrailed border to the horn body. The horn measures 11-1/2″ around the outside curve from the tip to the end of the turned base, the acorn finial adds about 3/4″ to the overall length. Large iron nails secure the base to the horn. A turned wooden stopper is fitted. Add a leather or woven strap and this horn is ready to go!A very attractive patina finished powder horn. Order it for a ten day visual inspection.
