The Pedersoli® 1850 Underhammer Cook Target Pistol is user-friendly and well-balanced. This balance sets the pistol apart from other pistols of the era and helps it perform well in competition shooting.
The authentic reproduction nineteenth-century pistol, the Underhammer Cook pistol meets all the M.L.A.I.C guidelines for sport shooting. The Cook Underhammer Pistol features an ergonomic, stained walnut grip, 8 1/6″ blued barrel that comes with a 1:18″ twist rate with 7 grooves. The easily removable barrel is seated to the frame by a conical hardened pin. The Cook trigger guard is the pistol’s mainspring, activating the underhammer percussion ignition system. The Pedersoli® Underhammer Cook pistol sports a rear adjustable elevation sight and a front windage adjustable sight.
