Get your leaking filter housing back in working order with Captain O-Ring’s replacement o-rings.
Compatible with:
- Simpure DB10C (not for the DB10/20 or DB10P)
- PurePlus PP-WFM10B (not for blue housings)
- Ronaqua 4.5×10” Transparent filter housings (not for blue/green housings)
The DB10C and PP-WFM10B use two o-rings to seal the canister to the filter head. The thicker o-ring goes in the groove around the outer circumference of the canister (just above the threads). The thinner o-ring sits in the groove at the top of the canister sump. Check out the photos for an example of where each of the two different o-ring sizes go.
This package includes 2 sets of o-rings – 4 o-rings total. This allows you to replace your old, worn, or leaking o-ring seal gaskets and have a spare set to keep on hand for the future.
It is recommended to replace your o-rings every third filter change to prevent leaks. O-Rings do not require lubrication, and can simply be wet with water to install. However, if you’d like to use lubrication, these Buna-N o-rings are compatible with all common plumbing greases (100% silicone grease is most often used in this application).
