This o-ring fits into the R0523000 Drain Cap (also called the Salt Cell cleaning cap). The R0523000 drain cap (stamped inside with number “A0118300”) is commonly paired with the R0449000 tail piece. While the cap itself can often last a lifetime, the o-ring is the part that eventually wears down and causes a leak. Don’t replace your entire cap assembly, when it’s just the o-ring that is leaking.
These replacement o-rings for the R0523000 Drain Cap are compatible with Jandy Zodiac CL Series (CL340, CL460, CL580), CS Series (CS100, CS150, CS200, CS250), CV Series (CV340, CV460, CV580), DEL Series (DEL48, DEL60), and DEV Series (DEV48, and DEV60) pool spa filters. Check your filter’s manual or parts diagram to confirm that you have the R0523000 drain cap before ordering to ensure that this is the correct o-ring for your system’s drain cap.
