H.E. Leman Indian Trade Rifle muzzle cap for 15/16″ octagon barrels. This clean smooth wax casting is patterned after an original in a local collection. We have examined other H.E. Leman Indian Trade Rifles with the exact same muzzlecap. Overall length is 1-3/32″. Web thickness is .2″. The sides are very slender and the wood along the forearm should be finished flush. Traditionally secured with a copper rivet, and decorated with a engraved zigzag border along the rear edge. Wax cast brass. Made in the USA.
