Description
the mount has, after my opinion, following flaws:
1. the 30mm rings are a bit too big, their inner circumference almost completely cover the outer circumference of a 30mm scope (that is a Z6, not a chinese one), so its a bit tricky to leave same space in-between the left and right half of the upper ring and base ring. To more complicate this, the edges of the rings are machined uneven (kind of half moon, dunno why!), in a way that obstructs even more the optical space checking.
2. the closing procedure is a press type one, not a wipe type one , like the original Blaser mount, so if ANY particle of dust is in the recessing, the scope will be offset by a little bit! for a original Blaser mount any type of debris, even dust particles, will be wiped out from the recess when closing the mount, so the mount will return zero more accurate (not even this is perfect!)
I think one should consider 1-2 MOA tolerance with this mount if taken off and on from the gun.
My opinion, GET THE ORIGINAL, that will stay between 0.5-1MOA!
