I have now had the Kahles k16i for 6 months and it has proven to be everything it promises and more. I have used it in a .223 ar-15 for 3-gun, bird hunting and varmint hunting.Currently it is sitting on my .30-06 Sako for moose hunting. It has been the perfect choice for all these things. The SM1 reticle is quick and precise at the same time no matter the range is. The glass is crisp and the field of view is huge at 1x with a generous eye relief. It does all this while staying rugger and lightweight. I also own a Leupold vx6 1-6 and I have to say it does not beat the Kahles in any way including quality of glass, eye relief, ruggedness and ease of use.
