Description
Classic square oval shape, used on percussion English rifles and shotguns of the 1830-1880 period. Notice that English buttplates have a “hook” under the front comb. It hooks under the edge of a wood screw, concealed in the inletting. Available in wax cast steel and brass. Overall length 5-1/8″, width 1-3/4″, comb 4-1/16″.
