Silver Bear ammunition 9mm ammo is zinc-plated steel cased. It is made at the Barnaul plant in the southwestern region of Siberia. The steel cases are coated in zinc to prevent rust. The projectiles are bi-metal, and this is some of the most affordable range ammunition one can find.
The Barnaul plant is said to have supplied over 50% of the USSR’s small-arms ammunition during WWII. This region of Russia is also known as Altai Krai, and borders Kazakhstan to the south. Steel-cased ammunition is non-reloadable and magnetic.
