These .45 GAP Lawman rounds are the perfect practiceammunition for your Glock 37, 38 and 39. Designed to replicate the ballisticperformance of Speer’s Gold Dot load in .45 GAP, they use a 185-grain totalmetal jacket bullet that covers the base of the round for minimal lead exposure.The TMJ plating also costs less, but renders the bullet unsuitable for portedbarrels. Expect a muzzle velocity of about 1,060 feet per second from thisammo, which comes in boxes of 50. Each cartridge uses Boxer-primed, reloadablebrass cases.
The .45 GAP cartridge was designed by Speer engineer ErnestDurham in partnership with Glock, who wished to introduce a new cartridge thatwould better suit their compact firearms than the .45 ACP. Glock chose Speer for the project due to Speer’slong history of producing high quality bullets and loaded ammunition favored bypolice agencies and concealed carry practitioners.
