These 12 gauge shells pack 24 pellets of 1 buckshot into a 3-inch hull, producing dense shot patterns and deadly terminal ballistics at the expense of stronger recoil than typical 2-3/4″ loads. Each shell fires its payload at a muzzle velocity of 1,040 feet per second. This relatively low velocity doesn’t hurt close range performance but does slightly reduce the risk of over-penetration. Each box contains 5 shells.
Winchester Super-X shotshells are made in Oxford, Mississippi using one piece hinged wads that improve accuracy and reduce felt recoil. They use clean burning 209 primers that will provide reliable ignition for consistent results in the field.
