This is a Super Grade featherweight barrel for the pre-64 Model 70 rifle, chambered in the .30-06 Springfield caliber. The bottom stamp on the barrel has a production date of 1955.
This barrel is rust blued and has all correct markings for a Super Grade Featherweight barrel.
Metal – Overall, this barrel is in excellent condition. No notable scratches or marks.
Bore – 6/10 – The rifling in this barrel is lightly pitted throughout the length of the bore. It is still shootable, but may suffer from accuracy issues. Borescope verified.
