Made with the discerning carry permit holder in mind, the Remington Ultimate Defense round is on the cutting edge of self-defense technology. Designed at Remington’s “The Rock”, these rounds have gone through multiple barrier penetration tests to ensure expansion for a variety of situations. Each cartridge goes through three rounds of inspections before being passed on to the consumer, to ensure a high quality, reliable round for when it matters most: in a life or death situation. Loaded with Golden Saber brass JHP bullets with a notched design to allow for maximal energy transfer and expansion, these rounds are designed for optimal usage of the barrels rifling. This makes for a more accurate and deadly hollow point.
These .40 S&W have a 180-grain brass jacketed hollow point projectile and are loaded into boxer-primed, noncorrosive nickel plated brass cases. Remington has also sealed these rounds for waterproofing and use low-flash powders for nighttime situations. Each box of Remington .40 S&W contains 50 rounds.
