Get your leaking water softener back in working order with Captain O-Ring’s replacement 12281 o-rings. The 12281 o-ring is compatible with Fleck 5600 and 9000 water softener units. This o-ring seals the control valve/head to the tank body, creating a watertight seal between the two components. Your old 12281 o-ring may become brittle and crack, or compress from extended service and no longer seal, resulting in a leak. Replacing your 12281 o-ring restores a watertight seal and brings your water softener back to peak performance.
Exact OEM Spec O-Ring Dimensions: 3.100” Inside Diameter (just under 3-1/8”), 3.52” Outside Diameter (about 3-1/2”), 0.215” Thickness (just over 3/16”).
Package contains two (2) o-rings. Replace your old, worn, leaking o-ring and have a spare on hand for the future.
