One of Latin America’s favorite cartridges, because of the restrictions placed on civilian use of military specific cartridges, this a 38 Super round that functions as an underdog of sorts. The powerful round is overshadowed by heavyweights with less performance, like the 9mm, and if it weren’t for the competence of the round for things like IPSC competitions, it may have much less availability in the United States compared to what it does now. Originally produced as a cartridge for the Browning 1911 design, this was a nice law enforcement weapon that was quite popular from about the year 1927 to about 1934 when the .357 Magnum was introduced and become a real draw away from the .38 Super, whose name is actually “.38 Super Automatic +P”. It is essentially a magnum/overpressure load for the .38ACP round.
The .38 Super is ONLY suitable for use in the chambers marked for .38 Super or for .38 Super Auto or for .38 Super Automatic +P. If you are unsure if this is a round that will work in your firearm, consult your manual or a qualified firearms expert.
This is a 1000 round case lot for the .38 Super Automatic +P.
