This round’s bullet doesn’t have a round nose. That thing is flat as a pancake, i.e. precisely the frontal profile lever guns love. As a full metal jacket, the bullet is hard enough to feed in lever guns without issue, and it’ll slow the rate of lead fouling in any barrel it fits through.
A 158 grain bullet and 755 fps (out of a 4” vented test barrel) muzzle velocity are popular specs for 38 Special range ammo. They cut down recoil to a bare minimum, so you can fire faster without compromising accuracy. And lest there be any doubt, Magtech’s pistol bullets are steel free. Fire them wherever steel-jacketed projectiles are verboten!
