This 40 S&W cartridge by Remington sports a 165 grain Golden Saber Bonded projectile. This hollow point bullet’s jacket is made of cartridge brass, which is thicker and stronger than copper gilding metal, permitting it to release more energy over longer distances. The jacket’s nose is cut completely through to control expansion to well over 1.5 times the bullet’s original diameter, and the spiral nose cuts in its tip cause it to open up to produce large cutting petals during expansion. This bullet’s bonded jacket gives it practically 100 percent weight retention during penetration, so you can count on a deep wound channel and massive stopping power should you ever need to neutralize a threat.
