It is also a perfect round for those who want to legitimately harvest the biggest deer or similarly sized animals at 50-90 yards or so. The copper projectile is a significantly better performer for larger animals in most scenarios, over lead based projectiles out of a shotgun.
This is a 1-ounce payload that equates to a 438 grain nominal weight. The effective range is beyond 90 yards, but the sweet spot for this load is about 75-90 yards because it represents the most consistent trajectory line and the best energy delivery.
