A gorgeous version of the famously speedy 7.62mm Tokarev round with a brass casing and a Boxer primer. It almost seems too good to be true that this round would be available at a decent price point with a brass case and Boxer primer, and from a proven factory production facility. The performance of the round is well known, but now, to have some more flexible loadings of the classic handgun round just makes sense for a lot of shooters who want to dabble in reloading and for those that want to play around with different guns outside of the military surplus firearms of the Eastern Bloc from the 1960’s 1970’s and 1980’s.
Almost nothing endears you to the hardcore American shooter better than offering their favorite cheap round at a good price point in a Boxer primed Brass case, when all they could get before was a Berdan primer or a steel case, or a combination of both. This round is poised to grab a lot of friends, even if they never reload a single case, by providing value for their shooting dollar.
